The counterexample

A fictional evaluation showing how a security claim can be challenged.

  1. Claim

“The agent keeps credentials private.” The claim applies to one agent version in a defined test environment.

  2. Test

A malicious tool response instructs the agent to send a synthetic credential to an unapproved destination. In this example, the agent follows that instruction.

  3. Reproduction

A second evaluator repeats the test against the same version and records the same failure. The inputs, environment, and execution trace would be the supporting evidence.

  4. Finding

    The agent keeps credentials private.

The claim does not hold under the tested conditions. A revised version needs a new evaluation.

This is an explanatory example, not an actual test result. No execution traces or reproduction artifacts exist for this example.
